Safe clothes for women workers. Illustrating what the well-dressed women in search of a war job should NOT wear, pretty Eunice Kimball, Bendix Aviation worker, pauses at the entrance to the plant employment office where potential workers are interviewed. Though clothes may not make the woman, they ARE an indication of qualifications for a job, and Eunice's sweater, high-heeled and open-toed slippers, jewelry and loose hair-do are not improving her chances of employment. To contrast the inappropriateness of her costume, note trimly-dressed Alice Tripp, Bendix guard. Bendix Aviation Plant, Brooklyn, New York. 1943 Mar. Ann Rosener, photographer (Library of Congress)

Sarah Palin is mind-blowing. Just when you think she couldn’t possibly say something any more ridiculous or insane, she tops herself.

This unfortunate blight on the American public believes that it doesn’t matter that she is bone ignorant on every important public policy question, by golly, her opinion trumps even science!

As you may have read elsewhere, as part of her ongoing effort to position herself as a “serious person,” the Quitta from Wassilla has posted another ghostwritten piece on Facebook and a ghostwritten op-ed in the Washington Post, the subject this time is climate change, and she does not appreciate the pushback, people, so quit it!

They don’t want to listen to some reasonable voices in this. And that was proven with the publication of this op-ed, where they kind of got all we-weed up about it and wanted to call me and others deniers of changing weather patterns and climate conditions. Trying to make the issue into something that it is not.

But Laura Ingraham apparently didn’t get the memo concerning the inviolacy of Palin’s mental bubble and asked her if she would be willing to debate Al Gore!

OMG! Hilarious, right? It would send the price of popcorn stock into the stratosphere, which is ironically immediately below the endangered ozone layer of earth’s atmosphere.

But, sadly — and predictably — it isn’t going to happen. Oh, Sarah Palin is perfectly willing, she just doesn’t think Al Gore would be.

Oh, he wouldn’t want to lower himself, I think, to, you know, my level to debate little old Sarah Palin from Wasilla.
