William Saletan at Slate has a post up about reports in the New York Times and the Washington Post about use of aerial drones by US military in Pakistan, at the end of which he points out that, “Some day, Pakistan will have its drones. So will India, China, and Iran. The proliferation of drones is well underway. Maybe it will solve the problem of terrorist insurgency. Maybe it will create something worse.”

I wouldn’t bet a nickel against the “something worse.”
